Where did I put that anniversary?

I completely missed my blogoversary. April 4 marked one full year of blathering about running and sometimes other things. Anniversaries are a time for restrospection, a time for reflecting on the past year's events and mulling accomplishments along with the failures. And while I was going to put together a play-by-play of what has happened in the past year, let's be honest: it is 8pm on a Sunday night and there is a new Simpsons on. I am not going to do this. And really, if you skim this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, and this, you'll basically get all the good stuff.

Enjoy!

Hey sRod, first of all, happy blogversary! Looking forward to reading more of your posts in the future.

Secondly, it's so funny that you asked if I had come out for a group run because after checking out your past and future races, it dawned on me that we actually ran together LAST WEEKEND!

Yes, I was the same guy you told about your upcoming Fairfield Half and about how you got stung by a bee in your first marathon (which I still think is a fantastic story BTW) so yes I've come out for the group run and met at least one really cool runner!

I was going to wait until I saw you out there again to tell you, but I didn't have the heart to wait so long. Anyway, hope I'll have the pleasure of running another 6-miler with you again this Saturday. Hopefully, the cherry blossoms will there be there for us. You'll be there, won't you?

Laminator--NO WAY!! That was you? How insanely funny is that??? Of all the people in the group you and I paired off? Wow. What are the chances?

And you know, the thought crossed my mind that I should keep an eye out, but I realized that I couldn't exactly ask people "are you the Laminator?" Cause would get weird really fast.

I will definitely see you this weekend!
