I am in!

I was planning for this to be my big, "I made it into the NYC Marathon" reveal post--the pay off from yesterday's dissertation on the lengthy sign up process. However, it seems like The Laminator has beat me to the punch--thanks Facebook.

So here's the big revel: I'm in, third time was the charm.

Training starts Independence Day and ends in the race of races on November 1. Now to pull together a training (hello appropriately timed RW July issue all about Marathon training). I better enjoy June.

Geez, SRod...I didn't mean to steal your thunder. On your last post...when you mentioned that the "magical day was today"...I thought that was your way of telling the world that you made it into NYCM! I thought you wanted to just sneak it in there in the last line to see if people were reading/noticing. Urrgghhh, sorry, I apologize. My bad!

Either way, I'm REALLY excited that you're running NYCM (as if you can't already tell!) It's the first time that we're actually running the same marathon, so I'm really pumped up! Sorry if my zealousness got the best of me yesterday and ruined your surprise!

HA, this makes me feel much better . . . I was all like, "Um, did I miss something that Lam didn't?" Apparently I did. Good to know I'm not a dummy! And congrats again! So excited for you! :)
